I love your old barn photos, Mike. By the way, where is Coatesville? I used to live in Evansville and did a lot of hunting around there. v/f

About Mike Flake

Mike Flake

Hello Everyone, I started taking pictures while in 4-H club back in the late 60's. I didn't really get hooked on photography until after dinner one Saturday night. This would have been about 1976 shortly after Kathy and I were married. We were at our friends, Brian and Freda's home, and he showed me his Pentax 35mm camera and started teaching me about depth of field and how to use the manual settings. I went out the next week and bought a used Canon AE-1 programmable. (I just now got it out to look at it and just looking at in makes me feel old.) Anyway I got into doing close-ups for awhile, bought a scanner when they first came out and I started doing photo restoration, self taught using Corel draw. Now I enjoy almost any photo-taking....
